Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Qamru Technologies LLC (Texas, USA — “Qamru”, “we”) covering the Qamru apps and websites. By creating an account or using Qamru, you agree to them.

What Qamru is

Qamru is a marketplace platform. Buyers post requests; independent third-party vendors respond with offers for physical goods and real-world services. Vendors are not employees or agents of Qamru — each vendor is responsible for their own offers, goods, services, and fulfilment. Qamru provides the platform, communication tools, and payment protection described below.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and be legally able to enter contracts. Vendors must additionally complete verification before selling. You can delete your account at any time in the app (see our Privacy Policy).

Payments and payment protection

Payments on Qamru are processed by licensed payment partners — Safepay in Pakistan and Stripe internationally. When a buyer pays for a deal, the funds are held securely and released to the vendor only after the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically after the protection window if there is no dispute. If a deal is not delivered, the buyer is refunded. Qamru never stores card or bank credentials; vendors’ payout details are stored encrypted.

Platform service fee

Qamru charges the vendor a platform service fee on each completed transaction, currently 1% of the transaction amount. The fee is deducted automatically from the amount released to the vendor after the buyer confirms delivery — the buyer pays no Qamru fee. Posting requests, registering as a vendor, and sending offers are free. We may change the fee rate for future transactions with reasonable notice (by updating this page and the app); the rate applied to a deal is the rate in effect when that deal is paid. Payment-partner charges (such as card processing costs) are included — vendors are not billed separately for them by Qamru.

Disputes

If something is wrong with a deal, either party can open a dispute before the funds are released. Qamru reviews the deal and may release the funds to the vendor, refund the buyer, or split fairly, based on the evidence in the Trade Room. Our decision on the held funds is final within the platform; it does not limit rights either party has under applicable law.

Acceptable use

• Only lawful goods and services may be offered. No weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, adult content, or anything on our payment partners’ restricted lists.
• No fraud, misrepresentation, harassment, or attempts to move a protected deal’s payment outside the platform to avoid protection or fees.
• We may suspend or remove accounts, listings, or offers that break these rules.

Service “as is”

Qamru is provided “as is” during the beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qamru Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees we earned from the transaction concerned.

Changes and contact
