Fees, Payment & Recovery
Effective date: September 2, 2026
1What Qamru charges you
Protected deals
Qamru charges a platform service fee of 3% of the transaction amount on each completed transaction. It is deducted from the payment before release, so you receive the transaction amount less the fee. The platform service fee is exclusive of applicable taxes (see Section 6) and of third-party payment-processing (transaction) charges: where a payment partner’s charge applies to a transaction, it is additional to the fee and may be deducted or billed alongside it. There is no charge for bidding, for listing, or for a bid the buyer does not accept.
Direct deals
Where a buyer pays you directly and Qamru does not handle the money, Qamru charges a commission of the transaction amount. Because Qamru never receives the payment, this commission is billed to you rather than deducted.
Buyers are never charged by Qamru
Every Qamru fee in this agreement is yours.
2When a billed amount is due
A billed amount is due within 24 hours of the invoice being issued.
You will receive the invoice by email with a payment link, and you can pay by card or bank transfer. The amount also appears in your Platform fees tab in the app.
3If it is not paid
If a billed amount is unpaid when the 24 hours expire, your account is suspended automatically. While suspended you cannot bid, open new deals, or receive new buyer requests. Deals already in progress continue, and money already held for you on protected deals is unaffected.
Suspension lifts as soon as you pay — automatically, without you contacting us.
We are not required to give further notice before suspending. The invoice is the notice.
4Chargebacks and reversals
If a buyer’s bank or card issuer reverses a payment for a deal on which you were already paid, you are responsible to Qamru for the full reversed amount.
How it works in practice:
- We fight it first. When a dispute opens, Qamru assembles the record of the deal — the terms you and the buyer agreed in the Trade Room, the timeline, and the buyer’s own confirmation of delivery — and contests the reversal. You are billed nothing while a dispute is open.
- If we win, it costs you nothing. No invoice is raised.
- If the dispute is lost, the full reversed amount is billed to you as a chargeback invoice, due within 7 days — a longer window than an ordinary fee invoice, because the amount is larger and unexpected.
- Non-payment is treated as in section 3: suspension until settled, lifted automatically on payment.
We may set off any amount you owe under this section against money we hold for you or would otherwise release to you.
This obligation survives termination of this agreement. Reversals can arrive months after a deal closes, and closing your account does not extinguish them.
The best protection against this is a good record: agree terms clearly in the Trade Room, keep delivery evidence, and get the buyer’s confirmation. That record is what we use to win.
5Changing these rates
We may change the fees in this section. Any change:
- applies only to deals you enter after it takes effect — never retroactively to a deal already agreed;
- is notified to you before it takes effect, by email and in the app;
- takes effect no sooner than 30 days after notice.
If you do not accept a change, you may stop selling and close your account before it takes effect. Amounts already owed remain payable.
6Tax
Fees are stated exclusive of tax. You are responsible for your own taxes on what you sell, including determining, collecting and remitting anything due in your country. Where Qamru is legally required to withhold tax, we may deduct it and remit it to the authority.
